Insights into Child Behavior and Psychological Well-being
May 22, 2026
On 2083-02-08 (Friday), under the theme “Insights into Child Behavior and Psychological Well-
being”, we dived “Under the Surface” (Chapter-21) to better understand the emotional world of
school children and adolescents. This session was dedicated to creating a safe and supportive
environment where young minds are genuinely heard, understood, and valued.
As part of our ongoing peer support initiative, we moved the session beyond the NSRC premises
and into the school community, making the experience even more meaningful and impactful.
The discussion created space for teachers and educators to openly reflect on children’s emotional
and psychological needs, behavioral patterns, communication gaps, and the growing importance
of emotional safety within educational settings.
Throughout the session, participants engaged in thoughtful conversations, shared experiences
from classrooms, and explored ways to build compassionate and emotionally supportive learning
environments. Together, we discussed how children often express emotions through behavior,
silence, withdrawal, or actions that may go unnoticed, emphasizing the importance of listening
beyond words and responding with empathy and care.
We were deeply encouraged by the active participation of 15+ dedicated teachers and educators
who contributed their insights, experiences, and commitment toward strengthening student
wellbeing. Their presence reflected a collective effort to ensure that schools become spaces
where children not only learn academically but also feel emotionally secure and supported.
A heartfelt thank you to Trilochan Academy for the wonderful hospitality and collaboration that
made this session possible. We are grateful to every educator who joined hands with us in
nurturing a culture of understanding, compassion, and psychological wellbeing for our children.
