15th Mental Health session: Divine Services Home, Mandikatar.
Oct. 10, 2025
The 15th session under the “100 Mental Health Program Initiative” was successfully conducted
at Divine Service Home, Mandikatar, Kathmandu on 24th of Ashoj 2082. The session brought
together senior citizens in a warm and supportive environment, where meaningful conversations,
shared life stories, and engaging interactions formed the core of the program. The initiative
focused on fostering emotional connection, dignity, and psychological wellbeing among elderly
residents through compassionate engagement.
During the session, our facilitators worked closely with the participants through one-on-one
interactions aimed at building rapport, encouraging open communication, and understanding
their perspectives on emotional wellbeing. Senior citizens were given a safe space to express
their experiences and reflections, helping them feel heard, valued, and respected. Alongside these
conversations, light and interactive activities were conducted to promote relaxation, joy, and
social bonding among the residents.
This program was conducted in collaboration with Bright Mind Education Hub, Street to HOME,
and Easy Learning, reflecting a shared commitment to mental health awareness and community
wellbeing. The initiative continues to emphasize the importance of creating safe and inclusive
spaces for senior citizens to strengthen emotional resilience and social connection. We extend
our sincere gratitude to all partners and supporters who contribute to building a healthier, more
compassionate, and mentally empowered society.
