Sept. 15, 2025
The program, held on September 15, 2025 (2082/05/30) at Venus English School, Bhimsengola, Sinamangal, Kathmandu, focused on raising awareness about mental health and psychosocial well-being among students from grade 5 to grade 10. A total of 18 students participated in the session. Activities included a brief introduction to mental health, self-care strategies, a “stone collection and stress threshold” exercise, and an anonymous message collection, which provided students the opportunity to voice their inner struggles.
Through these activities, students learned about self-care, healthy habits, the art of asking questions, and the importance of believing in oneself. The anonymous messages highlighted common challenges such as exam stress, family conflict, loneliness, lack of motivation, bullying, academic pressure, and feelings of insecurity.
By the end of the session, participants had developed a deeper understanding of mental health, the importance of expressing emotions, and different strategies to take care of their psychosocial well-being. The program created a supportive environment where students felt heard and valued, contributing to a more positive and open learning experience at Venus English School.
