Mental Health & Suicide Awareness: Shree Ganesh Secondary School
May 27, 2025
National Solution and Research Centre's mental health awareness session at Shree Ganesh Secondary School on Jestha 13, 2082, created a supportive environment where students could learn and talk about mental health challenges they face.
The session included a hybrid mental health questionnaire, interactive presentation, and activities like gatekeeper training and butterfly hug therapy. Through anonymous message sharing, students wrote about their personal feelings and emotional struggles, including stress at school, pressure at home, and problems with peer relationships.
The students responded with honesty and enthusiasm. Many said they had never had a chance to talk about such topics before, and the program helped them feel less alone. The simple techniques and discussions made a big difference in helping students understand themselves and others better.
